    Yacht Charter Terms & Conditions

    All services provided on Ekmaryachting.com are operated by EkmarYachting, a brand of Ekmar Tourism Trade Inc., hereafter referred to as the “Booking Agency”.

    Charter Period / Embarkation & Disembarkation

    Yacht charters are generally Saturday to Saturday with a minimum one-week rental. For different durations or start days, please contact the Booking Agency to confirm availability.

    • Boarding time: from 17:00 on the first day

    • Disembarkation time: by 10:00 on the last day, after breakfast

    Included in Charter Price

    • Accommodation on board for agreed days

    • Port taxes and fees in Turkish waters (excluding private marinas)

    • Entry and exit operations in Turkish waters

    • Fresh water and bed linen

    • 110 nautical miles cruising per week

    • Air conditioning usage (on air-conditioned yachts; duration may vary)

    • 24-hour professional crew service

    • Yacht insurance

    Excluded in Charter Price

    • Harbor taxes and mooring fees in Greek waters

    • Meals, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and land excursions

    • Personal travel or cancellation insurance

    • Greek waters entrance fees and island harbor fees (to be paid onboard)

    Yacht Delivery

    The Booking Agency ensures the yacht is delivered in proper working condition, fully equipped and staffed by a professional, courteous crew. Should the yacht be unavailable or delivered with a delay of more than 24 hours, the Charterer may:
    a) Cancel the charter with a full refund, or
    b) Allow the Booking Agency to resolve the issue within 24 hours, covering necessary accommodations, meals, and transfers.

    Breakdowns or Disablement

    If the yacht becomes unusable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to mechanical issues or other causes, the Charterer may:
    a) Extend the charter if the next period is available
    b) Switch to a yacht of similar type and size
    c) Receive support from the Booking Agency for accommodations, meals, and transfers until resolved

    Captain’s Authority

    The Captain is responsible for safe navigation and all operational decisions, including sailing, weather, and anchorages. The Charterer must respect the Captain’s judgment at all times.

    Use of the Yacht

    • The yacht is for private leisure use only.

    • Pets or other animals require the Owner’s written permission.

    • Charterer and guests must behave responsibly and comply with all applicable laws.

    • Illegal possession or use of drugs or weapons will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.

    Responsibility for Children

    The Charterer is fully responsible for the safety, conduct, and entertainment of any children on board. Crew members are not liable for children’s safety or activities.

    Health of Charterer’s Party

    All guests must be medically fit for the yacht charter. The Charterer is responsible for visas, vaccinations, and compliance with entry requirements for all visited countries.

    Cancellation Policy

    By the Booking Agency: The Booking Agency will provide an equivalent yacht or issue a full refund.
    By the Charterer:

    • 6+ months before charter: 20% of the total fee retained

    • 4–6 months: 30% retained or reschedule

    • 2–4 months: 40% retained or reschedule

    • Within 2 months: 50% retained or reschedule

    Insurance

    The yacht is insured against fire, marine, and collision risks. Charterers are responsible for personal travel or liability insurance. Use of water sports equipment is at the Charterer’s own risk.

    Note: These terms are provided for information purposes only and do not replace a signed Yacht Charter Agreement. They are not legally binding unless signed by both parties.
